NASGW SCOPE™ is an industry-owned, distributor-led initiative to collect and analyze data that strengthens shooting sports businesses. SCOPE utilizes data from participating distributor members, retail point of sale systems, and shooting sports industry manufacturers to create a comprehensive suite of tools designed to provide sales and inventory insight as well as an efficient means of distributing information throughout the shooting sports industry.
Learn More About SCOPE™The NASGW Wholesaler Summit first convened in the summer of 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, and brought together wholesalers from all around the country for a day of discussion around pressing issues in the shooting sports industry impacting the wholesale community. This event provides an opportunity to evaluate industry trends, impactful legislation, issues disrupting the distribution channel, and improvements in technology. Discussion during this gathering creates open lines of communication between Wholesale members as well as NASGW staff, allowing members and staff to work together for the betterment of the association and the shooting sports industry.
The NASGW Wholesaler Taskforce was formed during the inaugural Wholesaler Summit and provides a sounding board for NASGW staff and the Board of Directors to make better decisions for the association. The Taskforce has been crucial in the development of SCOPE and the future of the NASGW Expo.
Similar to the Wholesaler Taskforce, the Manufacturer Taskforce will soon be created, post-pandemic, creating a working group of industry manufacturers to voice their ideas, thoughts, and opinions on impactful industry issues, NASGW programs, initiatives, and events.
