SAF Welcomes Two New Corporate Partners
Continuing to build on the momentum that began early this year, the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) welcomed two new corporate partners to the organization over the past month.
Nighthawk Custom and RE Factor Tactical both joined the organization as Gold- and Silver-level partners, respectively. Along with the new corporate partner commitments, both companies hosted fundraising giveaways to benefit SAF. Nighthawk Custom donated a custom pistol build through SAF’s monthly sweepstakes program. The donation, along with support from Field Ethos, helped raise $25,000 for the organization’s mission. In addition, RE Factor Tactical held a night vision giveaway with proceeds benefitting SAF’s critical work.

Dates, Location Set For 2026 Gun Rights Policy Conference
The Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC) planning committee announced the 41st annual conference will take place Sept. 25 – 27 in Dallas at the Westin Dallas Fort Worth Airport hotel.
For more than four decades, GRPC has been the go-to event for Second Amendment advocates, bringing together the nation’s top 2A attorneys, activists and industry leaders to strategize and strengthen our fight for freedom.
“Now in its 41st year, GRPC has evolved to become one of the most in-depth educational conferences focused on the Second Amendment in the nation,” said SAF Executive Director Adam Kraut when the announcement was made. “The conference packs a wealth of knowledge in two days of presentations from some of the top names in Second Amendment advocacy. The planning committee will continue working to put together a great agenda that will educate, entertain and rejuvenate attendees, and we look forward to another great event this year.”
Co-hosted by SAF and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, last year’s GRPC speakers included special operations veteran Christian Craighead; author and Ruby Ridge siege survivor Sara Weaver; Guns & Gadgets YouTube Channel host Jared Yanis; award-winning Second Amendment columnist for Breitbart News AWR Hawkins; President, CEO and Owner of A Girl & A Gun Robyn Sandoval, and many more.
SAF Files Response Briefs in Organization’s NFA Challenge Lawsuits
Over the course of the past month, SAF filed numerous briefs in several ongoing cases. Two of those briefs were filed in Brown v. ATF and Jensen v. ATF, lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of the National Firearms Act.
Until President Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the NFA established a $200 tax and registration regime on certain classes of firearms including silencers, short-barreled firearms and “any other weapons,” drawing from Congressional authority to levy taxes. SAF and its partners filed lawsuits challenging the remaining registration requirements because without the tax, Congress’ reliance on their taxing authority is no longer justifiable.
“The passage of the Big Beautiful Bill kicked the already questionable constitutional authority for the NFA right out from under the ATF,” SAF Director of Legal Operations Bill Sack said when the Brown v. ATF brief was filed. “With its actual purported authority now eliminated, the government has resorted to borrowing taxation authority from elsewhere in the statute, or entirely different constitutional authority rarely asserted to justify the NFA. Today’s brief explains exactly why neither tactic is persuasive.”
