Welcoming New Leadership to the NASGW Board

NASGW is pleased to welcome three new members to its Board of Directors: Mark Emonet of Lipsey’s, Brent Taylor of Orion Wholesale, and Justin Gorman of Kinsey’s. Elected by the membership during the NASGW Expo in October, they officially began their terms at the start of the new year, bringing fresh perspective and proven leadership to the organization.

Their appointments come at a pivotal time for NASGW and for the shooting sports industry as a whole. Over the past decade, the association has steadily expanded its role beyond advocacy to become a solutions driven organization focused on helping businesses navigate an increasingly complex marketplace.

Through initiatives like SCOPE, NASGW has delivered greater visibility into distributor shipments and retail sales trends, helping the industry move beyond anecdotal conversations and toward data informed strategy. SCOPE has grown into a trusted resource that allows businesses to better understand market conditions, manage inventory, and plan with greater confidence.

VAULT represents another important step forward. By centralizing product data across manufacturers and distributors, VAULT is addressing one of the most persistent operational challenges in the shooting sports industry: inconsistent and inefficient product information. As adoption continues to expand, VAULT is positioned to reduce redundancy, improve accuracy, and save time across the supply chain.

The Annual NASGW Expo remains a cornerstone of the organization’s work. Each year, the Expo serves as the place where relationships are built, partnerships are formed, and the value of two step distribution is reinforced through face to face engagement. It continues to be a vital forum for business planning, product discovery, and industry alignment.

Looking back over the last ten years, NASGW’s progress reflects the realities its members face. Market volatility, regulatory pressure, margin compression, and operational inefficiencies have reshaped how business is done. In response, NASGW has focused on delivering practical solutions that support long term sustainability rather than short term reaction.

The addition of Mark Emonet, Brent Taylor, and Justin Gorman strengthens that effort. Their experience leading prominent, and thriving wholesale organizations will help guide NASGW as it continues to invest in data, technology, and industry education. Just as important, their leadership will help ensure the organization remains closely aligned with the needs of the businesses it represents.

As NASGW looks ahead, the path forward is clear. Continue building tools that matter. Continue advocating for the value of two step distribution. Continue creating opportunities for the industry to come together, share insight, and move forward with purpose.

NASGW is proud to welcome its new board members and looks forward to the impact they will have in helping set the course for the next chapter of the association and the shooting sports industry.
