Sioux Falls, SD (November 6, 2026) – The National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) announced a financial commitment of $20,000 to the Sportsmen’s Alliance at its Annual Appreciation Dinner in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 12.
NASGW is the trade association serving wholesalers, manufacturers, independent sales representatives, media organizations, and service providers involved with fishing, hunting, and shooting sports equipment and accessories. During the Appreciation Dinner kicking off the Annual NASGW Expo, the organization recognizes outstanding manufacturers and announces its charitable contributions from the 73-year-old organization.
The organization’s decision to support the Sportsmen’s Alliance followed careful consideration of the organization’s body of work defending the rights of Americans to hunt, fish, trap, and shoot. The Sportsmen’s Alliance, founded in 1978, works in state legislatures, Congress, state and federal courts, before regulatory bodies, and on the ballot protecting sportsmen.
“We’re so thankful for the commitment from NASGW for the work we do,” said Sportsmen’s Alliance President and CEO Evan Heusinkveld. “We fully understand the connection between the future of hunting and shooting and the industry that makes this great heritage happen. We look forward to working with wholesalers on issues that promote the industry and the sportsmen’s heritage.”
“NASGW only gives to organizations that make a difference to the industry and the future of hunting and shooting,” said NASGW President and CEO Kenyon Gleason. “Our board was impressed with both the past history and vision of the work of the Sportsmen’s Alliance. We look forward to doing great things together.”
Currently both organizations are assisting efforts to see the full unrestricted legalization and removal of red tape related to firearm suppressors.
