Get Out and Vote

Today is the day, November 5th, election day. Many have likely already scanned their ballots at early voting polls, but for those who have yet to ink their ticket, or perhaps considering the question of “will my vote really matter?”, this article just might be for you.

It’s the 11th hour and maybe you’re still contemplating the legitimacy and capability of the best two candidates that America has to offer. If this is you, it’s okay to question the theatrical drama that has unfortunately overshadowed policy through countless media splatter campaigns and lackluster debates. Though you might be dissatisfied with the current candidates, it’s also the very reason why it’s important to participate in current and future elections.

Are the Anti Gun Leaders Trying to Buy Ballots Again?

NSSF won’t hold our collective breath waiting on U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) to issue even a whisper of a statement blasting Michael Bloomberg’s latest move with breathless hysteria as “corrupt” and a “threat to democracy.” After all, the two are gun control bedfellows.

But Sen. Whitehouse’s staunch stands against “dark money” groups trying to buy influence will prove again to be glaring hypocrisy and yet another case of a politician forcing one-sided standards against opponents.

Michael Bloomberg, the failed presidential candidate and former New York City mayor, who also funds the gun control groups Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action, is throwing more of his chump change at Vice President Kamala Harris and her campaign in the last week of the election to try and buy more gun control seats in Washington, D.C., and hopefully The White House.

His latest gift amounts to $50 million, on top of several million he’s already donated. Sen. Whitehouse hasn’t said a thing.

NASGW Announces 2024 Appreciation and Caliber Award Winners

It was a night of appreciation in Kansas City as the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) kicked off its 50th Expo with the Annual Appreciation Dinner. The festivities included honoring current and past board members, President Kenyon Gleason's 10th anniversary, and a farewell to NASGW's SCOPE program director Easton Kuboushek.

"We had a lot of fun last night with a few surprises along the way," said NASGW President Kenyon Gleason. "The annual Appreciation Dinner is always a great way to kick off our week, honor some great partners in two-step distribution, and recognize some of the top new products in the industry."

Each year the NASGW Expo brings together wholesalers and manufacturers within the shooting sports industry to get a first look at new products and plan sales for the upcoming year.
