President's Message: 2025 NASGW Expo and Annual Meeting in The Books

kenyon-headshot-2021-square-500

We just wrapped up yet another great NASGW Expo and Annual Meeting in Grapevine, Texas. It went off quite well, with a few minor bumps in the road. But luckily, we’ve got a great team of talented people who work for us and we were able to navigate the challenges and put some solutions in place.

If you were with us in Texas, thank you for joining us. If you didn’t make it, we’d love to have you think about joining us next year. We’ll be opening up our exhibitor registration for the 2026 show in early November, so be on the lookout for your booth pick time. We’ll be in Phoenix next year, and we’re slightly modifying the pattern of the show as well. For many years, we’ve hosted the show with an opening dinner on Tuesday night, then had the show floor open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning.

Over time though, and with the high demands on people’s schedules, we’ve been asked repeatedly if we’d consider moving the show up a day in the week. So next year, we’re doing just that. We’ll open our Phoenix event with our awards and appreciation banquet on Monday, October 12. The Expo will then run Tuesday the 13th through Thursday the 15th at noon.

Major Digital Currency’s Terms of Use Prohibit Firearm and Ammunition Sales

So much of the energy surrounding the digital currency space has been aimed at bringing forth a new liberty. In a world where governments and some financial institutions, often at the government’s prodding, seek to curtail lawful transactions they disfavor, digital currency, which in many circumstances is transacted outside the legacy financial system, becomes attractive.

It’s why many freedom-minded folks flock to cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a digital, portable, property rights ledger that isn’t dependent on any government for its existence or acceptance. It is uncensorable, meaning anyone anywhere can transact with Bitcoin without the approval of a third party. Some call it the equivalent of digital gold.

Biden Staffer Exposes Soros Funding

A recent U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee hearing titled “Blue City Chaos and Tragedy: How the Trump Administration Is Addressing the Human Cost of Soft-on-Crime Policies” exposed the lunacy that billionaire gun control proponent George Soros, along with his son, Alex, is actively funding.

One hearing witness was Gregory Jackson, Jr., the deputy director of former President Joe Biden’s White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention. He’s currently the head of the Community Justice Action Fund (CJAF). Judiciary committee members, and even other panelists, were ready to pick apart his organization’s dangerous statements and unmask the wealthy antigun individuals funding it.
